    Manuals on computer

Try your local library. I was in a small town last week helping a friend. His manual did not have schematics, so we headed down to the library. It was the size of a one room school house. They had few manuals, but had a free online subscription to shop manuals. Printed out the pages I needed and the problem was solved in a couple of hours.

Here's a pretty comprehensive list of links: http://ranier.hq.nasa.gov/Metal/MetalBookmarks.html

Might be a few links of interest here: http://www.proshoppublishing.com/Links.htm

    And here: http://www.angelfire.com/ks/mcguirk/mwlinks.html

Here's a list of links for automotive, supposedly linking 100,000 sites: http://www.automotive-links.com/

Same here. My local library has online access to Automotive Manuals and lots of periodicals. I don't even have to go there to look at them - I just type in my library card # and a password and it lets me in from home.

Autozone.com has some shop manuals available for viewing on their website. I don't think much of their product, but free manuals are handy.
