Here is a picture of some welds that the new graveyard shift lead was producing earlier this week when we had our HH 135 vs Lincoln 135 comparison with the self shielded fluxcore wire. These welds were produced with the HH 135. This guy has very little wire feed welding time put in. However, he is eager to learn and pays close attention to any advice that I give him, which are 2 key ingredient that make a good student. To reach this weld quality and produce it consistently he only has about 3 hours of practice time invested. It just helps to prove that if you can receive some help from an experience weldor the learning curve can be increased quite a bit. This guy is also doing pretty good with TIG on steel and stainless steel. He still needs more practice but is showing he has the potential to be a very good weldor.
Anyway, here is the picture. Please be nice remember he is still very green and learning, however he is doing quite well for the amount of time invested.
