    Hobart Mig Welder Warranty ?

How would a person find out if any warranty was left on the Machine? Would the Serial number be of any value.
The Machine was bought at an Auction and no one knew when it was purchased! Still looks new.
    Thanks

Exactly. Call Hobart (or post the info here) with the serial # and they'll tell you when it was made and what, if any, warranties still exist.

    Thanks!!
it is a HH180 Serial number LE297283, I hope he gave me the right numbers.
I tried to call and confirm the numbers.
I'm pretty sure, but when you get 76 things seem to get confused, at least thats what I've been told

LEXXXXX would be 2004 manufacture so there should be some warrenty left. You can download a adobe file owners manual for free and read all about it as some parts on the welder are warrentied longer than other parts, it will also have the warrenty information on the last page.

George is correct, the born on date was August 9, 2004, so there is warranty left on the unit. It looks like the unit was purchased at TSC.

    Brian,
I'm impressed, thats what was told at the Auction, but we all had our Doubts on the real facts.
It was purchased at TSC and the supposed owner was there. We might have his name?
    Thanks for your follow up
