Help with Pullup Bar

Can someone, anyone help in pointing me in the right direction of getting a pull up bar welded? I love the type that are at Marine Corp Recruiting Stations and Camps. However after getting in touch with those stations it was said that Marine Supply Stations provide each location with Pullup Bars and that for anyone wanting there own would have to go through Schools or other means. I'm lost. I've seen the simple door way types sold at Sport stores, but I'm looking for something a little more stable. Yet and fit into a normal size garage. Picky huh (smile). Where are you located? If you're around Los Angeles, no problem.

Another alternative is to bolt or screw in to the garage ceiling Joists and hang the bar from the ceiling so you don't have such a large foot print taking up space in the garage with something like in your Pic.

How far from the Memorial City Mall are you?....If not too far P.M. me and I may have an alternative to having one welded.

I'll bet there's alot of guys (and gals) here who'd make it for you, to your liking, but I don't know what it'd cost to ship it.
