Thanks to Broccoli 1 and 3 pix

    Ed,
Many thanks for the camera help, FedEx delivered late yesterday afternoon, I read through the basics and set the camera up last night Took 3 pix about 10 minutes ago and thought I post them. The fence panels are for the new fence I'm building next week , I have two more panels to weld up and the gate. The wood bin of course is for the wife's chimana<<SP wood. Both of these projects I welded up with the new IM250 and as soon as I learn more about the camera I'll post some close ups. Thanks again my friend.

For close ups just press the Flower Icon on the back. The same Icon should then appear on the Viewing Screen to indicate you are in Macro mode.

The one thing about macro is that you will have a very limited Focal distance- "Huh?" Once you press the shutter halfway down, so the camera can focus, you really can't move at all. I mean really- just a tad forward or backward and the Pic will be out of focus. When in macro use both hands and try to rest against something.

Good thing though is that it's digital--- out of focus, no problem, re-shoot Play around with it- that camera should be able to take a pretty darn close shot of a Quarter- just so you can see how close you can get.
