    Liner movement in HH 175

I have a HH 175, I can move the contact tip back and forth about an 1/8 of an inch, is this normal? I pulled the nozzle off as well as the welding tip, down to the liner and it moves as well - is this normal, as well? Also, should the nozzle be seated all the way down on the gun or can I position it so that it is even with the contact tip. Thanks for your input.

I can't move the contact tip laterally at all on any of my three MIG guns. Also, the tip is either flush or slightly recessed when the nozzle is fully seated. Someting smells here! Some more folks will pop up with an opinion, I'm sure.

I'm not a expert on this machine but is the liner tight inside the machine, by the feed rolls. If memory serves there is a screw to tighten it there.
