    Cool My shop finds...

I have a small shop setup in my garage. My first score was this heavy Sears Craftsman 10" table saw. Found it on the side of the road with a sign that said "bad motor"

All that was wrong was that it needed this clamp, which I obtained for free from a electrical motor shop:

Added a new blade and she is good as new. Included on the roadside were the rip fence and miter guage.

I picked this ProMig 135 up on ebay for $150. Guy was using fluxcore wire on the .025 roller. Needless to say, he only used it three times and got frusterated. Quick flip and I was on my way. Then I picked up this CO2 container from a restaurant supply place for 40 bones. Welded me up a little cart, complete with outlet and HD extension cord!

Found this grinder at my farm in the top of the shed, took apart a desk lamp, made a stand from 6" pipe and a chevy wheel...ultra low buck!

And finally, just added some light:

    Thanks for looking!

    Thumbs up

I like your place , and I like your procurement stratagy ,

You got the makings of a pretty good $hit pile started on that bench too

    Mines Bigger ...

In the beginning, the Earth was without form, and void.
When one picks up some wood or metal or stone and shapes it into something usefull
... I beleive that it has to be a deliberate effort to disavow a creator.

As you work these, and join them, you feel the force and the will of He
who formed and shaped the very resorces that you now add your will and force to.
Further one surely can know when your will and force is not aligned with His.

$150 for that Pro-Mig is a deal. And that table saw is a nice score too. My father has one almost identical to it except it is 12" blade, he's had it for over 20 years and it still works great!

The flag in my shop is the ol' Stars and Stripes, I've been thinkin about putting up an Ohio one... (hf1)

PS - nice tool box (hf2)

. First things first before beating up the wolverines, Ohio State needs to take care of Northwestern, especially after the big win in Iowa City last week.

You know the sad thing is, tickets for the "big game" are going for about $1000/seat, which would be a big help on the way to an AC/DC inverter, but I promised myself I wouldn't sell it no matter what. I'm a Buckeye through and through .
