Do you decorate your hood? - *pics

I started another one off. Got some clever R/C stickers I'm gonna slap on there too.

Any sticker that doesnt go on the toolbox or garage door goes on a helmet.. Usually it's a dirtbike gear brand of sorts... No pics however.

3 coats of color (Miller Blue of course ), flames, and then 3 coats fo clear.

EDIT: the flames don't pop well in the picture, but i find if I tilt the flatscreen away from me, it looks more like the real deal. I wanted the flames subtle but noticeable.

Too bad I don't have a digital camera. My decor is not a fancy a Coalsmoke, but I took some acrylic paint markers and painted lizards and flowers all over my hood. Keeps the guys at work from messing with my helmet. I did the same thing to my Speedglas too. The acrylic is easy to retouch if it gets chipped and it is redneck enough that I can still weld and not worry about a pretty clearcoat getting messed up

thanks for the compliments In my case, the clear is a protection layer. Its harder than most standard off the shelf paints, which allows me to wipe off spatter and whatnot and leave the hood looking reasonably clean.

My helmet is too pretty. I have the Miller stars and stripes helmet that was free when I purchased my MM210.

I get more compliments on the helmet than I do on my welds.

some pix of my jackson helmet that ive had since 99. the flames on the top more or less wore off so I added a hand painted skull (lol) and a bunch of stickers that were given to me by various companies...... Been a good helmet for a long time more dependable and tougher then my hobart *hood*

I didnt take a pic of the lincoln sticker ......
