If you notice when you first left click in/on the address in the address bar it highlights it (turns it blue). Without moving your cursor, do a right click of the mouse, select and click "copy" and you are good to go. You have just copied that link or address to your clipboard. You can now move over to your post, position your cursor to the spot you want it, do a right click of the mouse and select and clik on paste and it'll pop it right in there.
Or if you want to hold it for awhile you can open up word or word pad and just pop it in there as a holding spot till you need it. Then just do your average copy from and then paste into your post.
You can do it a couple different ways.
In the post or reply window, click the earth button that has the chain link under it.
It will ask for the web address. Insert it and hit the button.
When it places it in the window, type the title of the link in the shaded area.Like this.
Or just cut and past the address in the window like this.
http://www.hobartwelders.com/mboard
and the forum code will automaticaly make it clickable.
It's an apple (G4)...no mouse..it's a laptop

You still need to use the proper code whether mac or ibm pc. Copy and paste the link by whatever method works on your machine from the web browser to the reply window. Here is an example of the code, just don't put the spaces in:
[ u r l ] w w w dot your website dot com [ / u r l ]
Or if you want to shorten a long link:
[ u r l = w w w dot your website dot com ] Click Here [ / u r l ]
That will result in seeing a link that says Click Here, but points to your website.
try "control c" to copy and "control v" to paste. That a simulataneous operation. Hold the control button down while hitting the "c" key is the old dos copy. Holding the control; while hitting "v" key is the old paste. Control "p" was the print que.
