Here is a tool that comes in handy. It is a hand operated sheetmetal hole punch. This unit can punch up to a 9/32"" hole in 16 ga mild steel sheetmetal. The five holes that you see in the peice of sheet metal were completed in less than a minute. The throat of the machine allows you to punch a hole up to an 1 1/2" in from the edge of the sheet.
