Is it possible to convert a Hobart Handler 140 from 120 to 210?
Anythings possible but I think it would be better to sell the 140 and buy a 220 power source.

I feel Dennis is right on, way too much work and cost for what you would end up with, keep it and buy a 230V mig or tig to go with it.![]()

Just askin. Ok, I"ll keep my paws off of it. Got it yesterday.
The power cord looks a little light to me. Whadda ya think about putting a bigger one
on it?
Why does it look light to you?Originally Posted by KeithP

The power coord is fine, take a look at the manual and it will give you restrictions on ext coords you can use. Also you might test the curcuit you will be using, the HH140 (and any 120V mig for that matter) will need the full 120V to work at its peak.
