    Stainless steel kitchen

Well here is my first attempt at covering a wall with stainless.
I had to set up a portable plasma cutter on the back of my truck. I had everything attached to my Bluestar 6000. A small contractor's compressor and my thermal dynamicscutmaster 38. Quite a setup. I wish I took pictures of that. Maybe tomorrow.

What gauge? What type of adhesive? A close up of the seams would be cool too.
    The jobs going good

No oven near by, so they say.

I'm using 304 18gauge stainless. My friend owns a machine shop so I got a good deal on the sheets $80 ea. so I was able to pass a pretty good deal onto the customer.

I'm using a liquid nails vertical grip adhesive. I found out that when you think the adhesive has set enough, the panels will still slide down the wall, so I placed drywall screws under the panels for support. Should've seen that coming! I'll also need to put some drive pin anchors for a little security. We all know how much stainless loves heat. It'll probably expand itself right off the wall.

The room is really dark so seam pictures were hard to get. I'll try again.
Unfortunatly it's not new construction. This is an old Grange building being upgraded.
I'll tell you the contractor did a **** of a job getting these walls **** near perfect.

I am interested to know how you join the panels (seams)? Very interesting project.

A lot of restaurants that I do installs for use stainless on the walls behind their fryers, etc. In this scenario you have to be careful of what type of adhesive you use. A lot of adhesives can be fire hazards so make sure you read the warnings on the adhesives before deciding which one to use.
