Sound like a good deal ?

MIller bobcat 225 on trailer. ac/dc stick, tig , and mig capable.( optional units not included) Trailer has 3 toolboxes and also tanks w/ oxy accet setup. 2600 dollars. Machine has 100 hours on it garage kept. Gonna go look at it tommorrow. Seems like a fair price but 2600 dollars is alot of money to me.What do ya think?

I have a 2 year old bobcat 250 that I have 100 hours on. I paid about $2500 for it 2 years ago. However, that wasn't including the trailer toolboxes and misc. other that the one you are looking at has. I would say that is a great deal and if it suits your needs, and within your budget, then go for it. A new one might have financing options, but would cost more money, you'd have to pay tax on it and it wouldn't have all the extras. Let us know what you decide. TX

You didn't mention leads, but they are over $1 per foot, depending on the size of the trailer and conditon, it could cost anywhere from $500 to $1000 dollars, then your O/A setup, etc. Then the cost of the machine. Sounds like a great deal to me if that is what you are looking for. My 2 cents.

hey Skipper. if everything is in good condition the o/a rig is a victor or a smith and not some elcheapo(which it probably is a name brand) and the tanks are owned tanks, and at todays gas prices and and and and if you can justify a need now or in the near future, i would say its not a bad deal. in fact it could border being a really good deal. if i was in the market, which i'm not and if i could afford it which i could, i would at least check it out and weigh the pros and cons quick cuz it might not be there in a few days. just my opinion.

Plus you could re-sell the O/A setup if you did not have a need and offset some of the cost.

Well, the deal is done. I picked it up today. It runs great. This thing has been in an enclosed building all of its life I think. The exhaust isnt even rusted. I got it in my shop right now but I got to put it under my lean-too sometime. I think a cover for it would be a good investment. I sure dont want to cover it up with plastic. I even polished it and put armorall on the plastic. I'll try to get a pic posted of it soon. I need to change the oil and I should be good to go. The only thing that I found wrong with the whole outfit is that the acc guage isnt working.
