    Cold saw

    It's what I want but my wallet is moaning loudly! Why are these thing SOOOOO much $$$$?

    Sure are. Do you mean cold saws like the $2,000 slow speed cold saws, or the milwaukee cold cut chop saw type? We use the slow speed cold saw at school, and with a sharp blade it's amazing. Cut through 3" round stock in seconds..Only problem is the blades are expensive. Fortunatly you can resharpen them though. Definitly worth it if you have a business or do LOTS of fabrication...
