    Dan i tried and still can't

    Dan, I dropped that baby down to 1 and 25 and did ok but I still burned holes in that 16ga. tubing where I had small gaps. I switched over to the HH 135 and finished the job.

    Hey I'm no Dan but the more travel angle the less penetration you will get also if the option is open to position the part where you weld in a drag down hill will also help mitigate burn thru-plus you could always try to use the wimpy o2/argon mixes to help with 'over-penetration'.
