    cheap ebay tig...

Not affiliated with the seller, don't know anything about it etc. but I saw this today.

If I didn't already have a tig and a plasma I'd be interested in this. Looks like it'd be just the ticket for the hobby/auto guys. Says it's ready for a pedal but doesn't come with one

    Looks like the Riland.

I believe this is what he's talking about:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/40A-Plasma-160A-...QQcmdZViewItem

It is being sold by parker metalworking, but from what I know it is the same machine riland sells. The difference being they've "designed and added a foot pedal controller" which the riland doesn't have.

Sorry, I have no opinion one way or the other on the actual machine.

I don't know boo about the Riland or the Parker either for that matter. I "did" talk to the guy at Parker and according to him his source in china makes that machine for him, and only him. Again, according to him, there are features inside (I'm not an electronics guy) that make his different (read better) than the competition, beyond just the foot pedal. He says he went round and round with a few chinese before they got the picture he wanted it his way, and not the way everyone else sold and just rebadged for X, Y, and Z company.

Take for what it's worth, he seemed to be a straight shooter, he has good feedback, and it "sounds" like a decent machine. It's what I was considering.

If you believe that Storts, I and an ever widening group of others treat you with disdain, you are correct Jim, but not just for your Riland remark.

Is that how you influenced your students Roy? Try and get them to believe there's some growing mass of people out to get them if they don't agree with you.

Have jack send you his saved up pm's. I have a feeling you would see things differently, since you actually went to school and can understand bigger words.

So how come your loan was for 25 grand then Jack?

After you sold the plane, then sold the building, then borrowed a bunch of money... I'm just wondering how you have the nerve to question me when your math doesn't add up at all.
