there's a pretty good one on the Miller site: http://www.millermotorsports.com/mboard/ its a good informative board. There's plenty others out there if you look for them

shopfloortalk.com is a good site. A new one, toolboxtalk is a recent startup and struggling a bit but could become a good site with more participation.

Visiting different sites isn't disloyal just getting a second or third opinion. If you get the same answer at two or more sites must be good info.

I go to all the sites but refrain from saying which one I consider the best. Everyones taste in sites is different. I will say that this site is all business. None of the fluff. same goes for the Ask Andy site run by Miller.

True about there are other good sites. Not quite as true about the same answer on more than one site meaning that it is true. Most active members visit most sites, some use the same identifier where ever they go and thus are easily identified others change handles from site to site so you can get the same advise from the same person on two or more different boards. Correct or not it really is only one reply. The good thing is that no one tries to deliberately mislead on any of the sites I visit and erroneous information is usually corrected by other members promptly. The problem is to correctly select among the alternatives offered,

After a while you will recognize posters across boards from there style.

The most interesting thing is to watch someone troll for a specific answer correct or not. They keep trying until someone posts what they want to see. Then they are happy because they have been told on xxxxxxxxx site that what ever they asked about is ok.
Some of them exhibit real Darwinian tendencies: confused:
Visit all sites with an open mind and remember what you paid for all that free advice .Enjoy yourself they are entertaining and interesting sites. Regards Terry

Weldors Anonymous is a good site also fairly new but there are some good folks over there. I check quite a few sites I've joined a few and just lurk around on others.Hope you find what you're looking for.

Is unmoderated usenet newsgroup that good about staying on topic. Newsgroup reader is required, one is included with Internet Explorer, Mozilla Thunderbird has newsgroup reader, or use dedicated news group reader, there are many, but I use free version of Agent. Can find old newsgroup messages with google groups search and use google to read all current newsgroup messages if your internet connection doesn't support news groups. Newsgroup readers have many features to store and filter messages making them much better.
