    Bargain at Lowe's

I had to swap out a defective pump for my wife's fountain at Lowe's, and I always looks at the bargain table. I found 5-6 packs of DeWalt 4-1/2x1/4" grinding wheels for $3.00/pack.

Lowes also has an autodarkening helmet (one of those with the narrow strip lens about an inch high) on clearance for around $50.

Speaking of bargains, i just had a friendly conversation with the owner of the local hardware store. Problem: $1.99 for a 1/2" EMT connector (set screw). They're .16 each at the supply house!

yea i was hoping it would work a little better but its good for small cutting and it works great for brazing

the only thing i dont like it that it eats up those oxygen tanks really fast
in cutting it will last 8-12 minutes

they say once you start the puddle in the cut that you can turn off the fuel as the oxygen is the only thing needed to cut.

i need to upgrade to an O/A setup...
