    eaton air compressors

I think I am going to make the jump from my 60 gallon IR 3 hp compressor to a 5hp eaton compressor now that I have this sandblaster. Who has personally pruchased a compressor from this place, or have friends that have? What is the customer service like? Do they dropship parts ASAP if something goes wacky?

Also, this thing puts out 19.5 cfm at 100 psi. Is there any other compressor in the <1100 range that has this flow? Requirements is it has to be a major company, and not some wacky brand noone has heard of.

    Some help would be enjoyed!

I gave them a call today, and found out the 2 cylinder 32cfm pump which that compressor includes is out of stock. In exchange, they will install the 32 cfm 3 cylinder 2-stage pump for about 50 extra.

    6v's,

I don't have an Eaton but I haven't seen any bad press on them. I have seen posts from a few guys on one of the boards that like their Eaton's. I'm looking to get one of their dryers. They seem to be a reasonable price for a good product.

I have no personal experience, but plan to buy one after my Porter Cable dies. Their ebay prices are very good.

Yup, I would have responded sooner, but I havent been able to get on.

Yes, I bought thier 5hp, single stage 20cfm unit (second one on the page) I ordered it with a 60 gallon tank.

So far, I have no complaints whatsoever. It is built pretty well, Not a champion, but its half the price, and a much better value. Its pretty quiet as far as a compressor goes. I have personally talked to the owner on a few occasions before I was buying, and he answered all my questions. they have great customer service and truly stand behind thier product. The shipping guys scratched the compresser up a bit, so I called them, and they shipped me touch up paint for free, and it was here in like 2 days. Dont know of too many others that would do that. I have been very happy, and Have never heard anything bad about them

I purchased a Eaton Compressor last winter. I Highly recommend this company and the people that operate it.
My compressor is the 80 gallon twin pump 19.5 True air. Think its about 1,050.00 bucks. Its everything that you would hope for in a home shop.
I Run paint guns, Sata RP and Minijets, Air grinders and sanders and a Hypertherm 1100
Plasma. I'm very happy that I did not purchase a compressor from the Home supply warehouse places.. Eaton is far superior. I truly believe you would be very Happy with it.
