    Bar stool dimensions

How wide should I make my bart stool racer. Don't worry about the bar stool or the motor( It's going to be electric) But how wide are the ones people have built? I just want a baseline.

I made my frame as wide as my barstool (~13 inches). I used a 28 inch axle and with my hubs and offset wheels, it was just over 30 inches overall width in the rear. I had a little more adjustment and could have gone as much 34 inches wide.

    Mark,

I love the disclaimer on the site with the plans: "Use should only be attempted by adults of questionable starting intelligence. "

    Here's a cart we did:

You can stand on the roof.
Xm, CB, CD in the black box attached to the roof.
Front basket is lockable for your goods when you need to walk away from the cart.
Rear seat, foot rest and ball for a 2 seater trailer.

    Lot's o' fun
