Hi Tom, do you know the ohms value and the wattage? Resistors are easy to find substitutes for. What is it's purpose? My Beta-mig 200 has a 100 ohm, 10 watt resistor across the capacitor bank to discharge them.

    Talking I tried.......

to look up in the Miller Service CD. They list the Beta Mig in 2 different files. What is the ser #? Neither file shows the part # as a seperate item and the part search did not list it. May have to call Miller to find it( Hobart). 800 558 3517 Post the ser num and I will try a old Hobart disc I have.

XMT 300CC/CV (yes it still works)
Bobcat 225, Hobart Hefty CC/CV wire feeder, Profax spool gun,Victor & Smith O/A, Lincoln Tombstone(sold), Airco HF box (old Miller) MM175, IR 4KW gen set,all paid for, all work. My newest addition MM130 salvaged from a Kitrina flood area. Cleaned up and works great. . Just added a Miller Thunderbolt AC/DC, total cost to repair both less than $200.00, they both work great...another Katrina cast off.

This is a strip of stainless steel (Alkrothal 720) .046 thick and 36" long with different attachment points on the strip that connect to the P pack to control the arc..... So it would be a couple of ballast resistors if I can figure out what the ohms and wattage are at the different attachment points...

    Talking No luck.....

I could not find a listing as such for your machine. Call the Good Ole Boys at Hobart/Miller. Is the part broken/missing????? Does it have a number on it???? Maby cross it over by manufactures num and not the Hobert num!!!!!

    Frank,
I have called Miller to see if their is an identical part in any of their machines. The part itself is beyond repair. It has burned through so a new piece is needed........ I would think the part should be available somewhere. Scrapping this machine over a strip of steel just pisses me off.
