    Dialarc HF parts needed

Also posted this on the Millermotorsports board. I am trying to resurrect a Dialarc HF that I picked up cheap ('81 vintage). I need the cooling fan, motor, windtunnel, and rectifier assembly. Also looking for a foot pedal. Anyone have any parts from one they're parting out? I thing most of the Dialarcs used the same parts.

Hope this is the right section to post this in.

    Thanks

    Steve

If you can't find the rectifier assembly, you could build one with the right size diodes. Same with the fan, should be easy to rig one up.

    Talking need ser #

I have a bunch of old miller parts(many NOS). Get me your ser# and I will see what I have to fit. I will have to cross over the #'s. When you say "fan" do you mean Fan blade or fan motor? Many of the miller machines used the same motor. The ones I have are for the SRH and Mark IIIV series.
XMT 300CC/CV (yes it still works)
Bobcat 225, Hobart Hefty CC/CV wire feeder, Profax spool gun,Victor & Smith O/A, Lincoln Tombstone(sold), Airco HF box (old Miller) MM175, IR 4KW gen set,all paid for, all work. My newest addition MM130 salvaged from a Kitrina flood area. Cleaned up and works great. . Just added a Miller Thunderbolt AC/DC, total cost to repair both less than $200.00, they both work great...another Katrina cast off.

    Dialarc HF parts needed

    Thanks for the replies.

Mike, I'm ahead of you. I was in the process of converting my old NCG Sureweld AC box into an AC/DC Tig after seeing what you did with your Linde (great job). I have acquired the diodes and heat sinks, so building the rectifier is no big deal. I just happened to run across this "junk" Dialarc for $50 and figured it was worth it for the parts alone. Turns out it welds great on AC and even the HF works, but the rectifier and cooling fan are missing..

Frank, thanks for the offer to look for the parts. The Ser # is JB510921, and I downloaded the owners/parts manual off the Miller website. By "fan", I mean the fan motor and blade (actually the entire cooling asembly). If you want to email me direct, my address is hendrcs1(at)msn.com.

    Thanks again.

    Steve

    Talking Let me look.

Hello hendrcs. I will have to look in the conex box but I think I have a few new motors in stock. The Miller part num is 116 190. The fan blade listed in the parts breakdown show a 12" and a14". I will see if I have a used one with the shroud. Used motors may be hard to find
