    O/A regulator adapter???

I finally received my torch today, I puchased the tanks last week. I want to get to work on the trailer but.....
Both the Acetylene Regulator and the tank have male ends. WFT?
How can I weld with just O2?
Do they make an adapter or do I need a new tank? Can I make an adapter from home Depot Parts?
Does anyone know the thread sizes on the tank and regulator?
    Thanks,
    Dave

Your welding supplier should be able to help. You can either get an adaptor ( CGA300 Tank to CGA510 Reg) or, you could change the regulator nipple to CGA300.

    Yeap!

I have a full set of adaptors here at the house. Just in case the guy on the dock changing tanks does not look at the valve and gives me a differnt set up. That and I have a adaptor for a "B" tank as I have about 4 of them kicking around. Guy next door was in HVAC and had them for work but no longer needed them and gave to me

If you do not like useing the adapter next time you change tanks with supplyer ask for the other valve set up.

If your close to NE Ohio and unlucky finding one Email Me. I could loan ya one till ya get one.

Thanks, that is good news, but the bad news is that since no welding shops are open on weekends my project will have to wait another week to begin..

Oder one on-line. Almost every welding supplier has 'em.
