    Talking mm210

Well I finally pulled the trigger today and put my order in on the MM210, should have it next week. It was a tuff call between the MM 251 and MM210 , with the MM210 edging out theMM 251 because of cost .been searching around here about the two and it seems the owners of both are very happy with them . So I hopefullly will be as happy as the rest of you Miller owners.

I have only ran a 210 once ad didnt take a lot of time to fool with it but cranked it up on some 3/8 plate. I will say the power supply it was hooked to was very good but it smoked weld on ,,, no problem, I ran a couple beads in a fillet as big as your finger no sweat, as hot as I wanted to run them. I didnt have any meters but you would certainly be squeezing the trigger and the dials on any 175 and wishing for more, this thing seemed effortless and I was quite suprised, I dont think I would sit around crying for a 250 class unit all too often.

    Thumbs up Mm 210

    Melt1,

    Congrats on the 210 !

But lets cut the BS about "just waiting patiently". You haven't been sleeping well, you've checked the tracking number once or twice a day to see where it is, your trigger finger twitches, you've been making swishing sounds like a gas torch when no one's looking.

Admit it !!! Patient my a$$

    Hey Melt1,
Today must be MM210 day. I just placed my order too. I searched this forum for advice and opted for the MM210 over the smaller ones. My wife called me at work today to tell me that our tax refund check finally arrived. I **** near hung up the phone on her to call my local supplier and place my order. It'll be here Monday. Congratulations and good luck.

Has anyone welded 1/2 plate with this welder or is it maxed out at 3/8?

I still have two days to wait for mine but I think it's rated 3/8 In a single pass,Although It will probley take multible pass on 3/8 for solid weld. Someone here that has one and tryed it will surely tell the tale though..... If nobody tells, I'll tell you in a few days.
