    welding table

    Need guidence / help building a welding table. At the cost of steel I dont want to screw it up. 3/8" 2x4 for the top . Thats as far as I,ve got. Any help and ideas would be great!!. Thanks, Tom

    BadDog - thanks for sharing. Great article and super pictures. I really like the round off-road table you have a snap of. Gives me some great ideas! Now all I need is the metal and the time...

    Depends on how many people you have handy to move it around.

    2' x 4' x 3/8 is about 120lbs.

    2' x 4' x 1/2 is 163 lbs.

    For welding table, thicker is better. 3/8 would probably be sufficent for most uses.

    Hmm, works for me. Maybe browser or browser settings problem? They come up in a pop-up, so you may have to "allow popups" for that site/page if you have a blocker.

    I think you hit the nail on the head I have a pop up blocker on my computer. I will shut it off and try again. Thanks
