Wards powr kraft

Ihave a wards powr kraft 230 stick welder and was just wondering if anyone knew who made these for Mont Wards? Or where i could get some info on it?

Does it work? If it does what else would you want to know about it? They are a simple transformer machine.

As a matter of fact it works great! I was just curious about it since it's so old.

There isnt much to know. Its not like there are a bunch of adjustments or options. Its really about what it does more than what it is. Plug it in and forget it,, make sparks,,, ha

Certainly open for dispute, but I believe a lot of those older Montgomery Ward and Sears units were from a company called Marquete. They produced a lower line of welders often sold at places like Western Auto, True Value Hardware, etc.
