Is there a way to completely clean solar flux after welding without sandblasting so that it looks better?

I use Solar Flux on the inside of exh tubing so I dont have to clean it. Dont use it on sanitary welds purge instead. And always wipe it off the face of the pieces to weld or it gets in to the toes of the bead and looks terrible. Its cheaper than back purging with argon. I do back purge ocassionally but mostly use Solar flux. You dont have to get it off on the inside. I use a scotchbrite belt to clean up the heat marks.
