hi guys heres some pics i thought you would like
5G 12" pipe to elbow ,tig root 4mm gap feather edge 135amp,hot pas 2.5 ev50 90-100 amp fill/cap 125-130 amp.
12" pn16 flange rolled (welded at 3 oclock position)first pass ,3.2 ev 50 dragged at around 120 amp, second pass 3.2 ev 50 blocked out at around 130 amp.
the shocking stop/start on the top of the pipe is an example of how not to weld when you cant see the prep because your to lazy to put a new lens in your lid

Those are more my style, more "fluid" than some of the others I see.

It's like I tell the fitters at the plant....you have to practice a lot more cause your welds don't look anything like mine. Yours are way too smooth and consistent. There should be a lot more spatter too. Having a rod stuck to it is an advanced technique.

I'm gonna do some welding on my tractor drag today. I'll see if I can make some of mine look like yours so I can tell you what you're doing wrong.

:D

P.S. They sure are pretty.

Looks like your pictures were shot with fixed focus hand held cell phone camera. Quality is so poor it is hard to see anything beyond they were ok for beginner first welds but far from quality needed for critical welds. Better pictures will get you better critiques.
