can you weld the 300 series stainless filler tig wire to cuni 90-10 or 70-30?what is the best tecknique for a 6-g pipe test? thanks :confused:

I have always used inconel to join ss to cuni. I have never heard of using 300 series ss. I suggest RN82 or EN82 if it was me. We never used anything other than the afore mentioned inconel on that type of transition weld.

If you are welding just cuni 90-10 or 7030, you would use either RN67 or En67 if tig welding. That is if you are joining cuni to cuni.
