View Full Version : Welding Trailer Completed

Well finally got to a finished for not point in my welding trailer project.

Here are some pics.
Its a 5x8 trailer. Trailblazer 275, Aircompressor and Oxy/Ace Tanks are raised from deck to allow for some metal storage if needed. Also added a few leveling jacks if ever needed. Has Fold Down Table with Vise, Cable Reels, Air Reel and Oxy Ace Reels for convience and storage space reduction.

I've been planning a similar setup for a 5x8 with my Bobcat and Champion compressor, and you just gave me one of those "DOH!" ideas that solved one of my major problems.

And that was, once all that crap was on the trailer, how do you haul any material without building an overhead rack onto the trailer - the idea of mounting the welder sitting off the floor on raised rails is genius! Thanks!

With 2 recent knee surgeries after a bike accident last oct and a 3rd probably in the next month, I too thought about the overhead rack then decided the easier and lower to load the better.
