this welder, it seems to weld descent & runs descent once you get the rpms & your heat dowm.it is not an automatic, pull the throttle & lockit. all the decals are faded where you have to guess,looking for info on machine, i,m gonna give all the info i can,Says on tag-Amps-300, Volts-40,Specification#-6298-1, Model 300-d,rpm -1800,Serial # 81WS04997.I was told it is a 1984 Hobart Mega-Arc 300.it has a 3 cyl. perkins, my main thing is just seeing my amps, if anyone can help me it will be greatly appreciated.caleb110303@yahoo.com
