I have a older 135 handler (9 years old) has not been used alot just here and there. The problem is when I turn the unit and open the bottle the fan comes on and everything seems to be fine but as soon as I try to weld the wire will feed and then gradually slow down and then just stop and the only thing I get is the clicking sound. If I turn it off and wait a couple of minutes it will feed agian for a few seconds then stop agian. If I just hold the trigger down away from my project it will feed out about 12" of wire then slow to nothing.
If I take the tension off the wire it will run a little more and if I take the wire off to where there is no wire to feed it will run for about a minute the slow down and stop.Anybody have an idea?
Thanks

Try it without a contact tip and make sure the cable is dead straight. Let us know what happens.

I have done that as well I also blew the liner out with a air nozzle.

Does the drive motor stop?
Can you slow it down using pressure with your hand (be careful)
If the drive motor does not stop then fault would be in your feed system
