my home made 6 ton shop press and bearing seperator , total cost for everything was $ 45.00 .

Cool press. What did you use for materials? How did you make the bearing separator? I see the square tube for the ends. What about the middle?

top and bottom (with press) 2x2 3/16 , sides 2x2 1/8 , bottom is 3/16 angle iron . bearing separator was welded up with different size scrap and then used a bi-metal hole saws , and a lot of grinding . glad you liked it . let me know if you need more pictures .

use it to flatten a piece of thick metat i coun't pound out with a b.f.h.

i made it so i could make it taller if need be , but as of right now i don' t nee a tall one as all my stuff is g.m .
