So I just bought my Hobart Handler 140........... there is something messed up with the regulator so I call the # on that orange sheet that comes with the welder and I quote "7:00am - 5:00pm Eastern Time Monday thru Friday". I call at 7:10am Monday (a few minutes ago) and get their voicemail that says they are open 7-5pm CENTRAL time :) hahah
Guess I'll wait an hour and try again :) haha

Well I must say, EXTREMELY impressed with Hobart's tech support / warranty.
I just called back at 8am, talked to the rep and I should have my new regulator by Wed.
He was more than helpful and willing to send the new regulator right now, no having to argue or fight for the warranty. Very nice to see a company stand by their warranty!

With service like that you'll look at Hobart if you need another welder right?!

So, is Hobart going to do a recall on all the 140's to correct the sticker??:D It does say something about their Quality Control, however...someone just plain missed it, and whoever oversees them missed it, too! They should send you a new welder, just for catching their error! Tell them I said so, and I'm sure they will...well, maybe not...:rolleyes:
