I thought I would share another garage tip. This is my buddy's workbench in his garage that we built last summer. He did not have the tools needed to make drawers, and I didn't want to try to make them at my house and hope they would fit when I got there, and struggle and fight to get them to work. I had seen this idea in a magazine and we thought we would give it a try, and they work great. They act just like regular drawers even when you pull them out they stay unless you pull too far of course. They will hold quite a bit of weight, and are pretty thick plastic. We found them at Sams for $8 a pc. I believe.. I know, I Know, wood on a metalworking site, but use your imagination...Square tubing, flat stock,... could be done easily enuff;) If your wondering what all the splatter is, his wife ran over a quart of oil....it went EVERYWHERE  (note to self..don't leave quart of oil in floor) Thanks for looking

**Note to self: check around car tires and on garage floor before pulling in/out of garage. NOTED **

Slick idea for those workbench drawers, Hotfoot. I got just enough space under mine to do one of those .... (Btw, solid old doors and kitchen cabinets make one heck of a sturdy workbench!)

Very cool idea. Those things are thick  You will smell the plastic early enough to stop the burn before they are hurt to bad if something does set them ablaze.

I converted my "garage" into a basement workshop. It had an ungainly cantilever door and the only car that would fit in it is a Model "T".

That's what I told my friend when we were building his garage...DO NOT LET YOUR WIFE AND KIDS TAKE OVER!!!!!! But he did:rolleyes:It just seems like the wifey rolls over a quart of oil and then quietly in her evil little head, giggles (my garage, screw his stuff). :confused:they just don't understand the love between a man and his garage:)

There is a direct and indisputable correlation :

Man Tools = Woman's Shoes

Man's Garage = Woman's Kitchen

Man's time spent of Weld Talk, and other highly Scientific Forums = Woman's time spent blankly gazing at the View, Soaps, and Chick movies

...what others am I missing ..??

My wife just ran over some stuff the other day,,,I came home from work early and got started on a project and went to go pick up our daughter from babysitter, came home and my wife says " Uh I kinda ran over somthin" I say what? She says "Uh I dunno" Hmm....I go look..No big thang it was just a 4' long paint mixing rod that I had used to let down the jack that the handle had failed on, plus the jack and a block of wood plus some other items.... Geez... usually at that time she would've parked outside, expecting me to have a project in the way, but no today let's run it over!!!I don't get it???????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????????????
