I need some ornamental "T" fittings for a couple of baby cradles that I need to build soon. My searches through decorativeiron.com, Lawler foundry, king metals have turned up nothing. google searches are coming up dry too. These things are common on commercial bed offerings but I can't find them .

Look at the connections on the foot board where the vertical pickets meet the horizontal pieces.

What I have seen of those look cast in place. The casting is the weld joint. I have a stainless steel frame bicycle built with cast aluminum joints. They could also be assembled with a sweat solder joint.

I've seen many of them on old beds I've repaired, some are separate cast pieces, others are stamped, then wrapped up around the joint...usually the cast piece. Some also are split, and slip over the horizontal rod, and are held together with a screw, clamping the vertical rod in place.
I'm sure someone must carry them, I'm surprised King doesn't have them.:)
