champion 10kw stick

i bought a 5 year old champion stick welder last week , it performed great when i tried it out but when i got it home and tried to weld with it i dont seem to have the amperage needed to keep an arc no matter where i adjust the reostat . i have also noticed that the voltage at the generators 120 outlet is running about 103 . i did take the leads off and tried them on another welder where they worked fine.
any suggestions would be appreciated

Not sure about your problems with your Champ, but you wouldn't be around the Tyler Texas area by any chance would you? I know a Mike Prater up that way.
