lincoln ranger 9

Hi all,
I am a recent noob welder who just purchased a used lincoln ranger 9.
I was lkooking for a generator for power outages at home and a decent stick welder. Can anyone tell me if I purchased the right machine????Is this a decent machine.

As far as the right machine? Only you can answer that question. But it's a decent machine and will stick weld and produce lots of AC power. So it will do both the things you bought it for.

How used is it and what kind of condition is it in? Did you get a good deal? Post pics.
