Hi B_C,
Did you try the Lanthanated tungsten on this job? I have Al. coming up and wanted to know how like it.
No I didn't have any to try yet, so these were Pure tungsten......with alumix gas (75-25 argon helium)

The "care package" included one stick of 1/16", 3/32", and 1/8" blue ( 2% lanthanated). Did they not make it with the other items?

Where do get your Alumix? over here in Hayward I have Airgas, I haven't checked with them yet.

Funny you mentioned bongs, falling asleep last night I turned on the tv and the movie "Half Baked" was on, and there Holy grail was the "Billy Bong Thornton"!! and I thought I saw those things B_C welded!!

Obviously some of the other posters are much more up to date on "bongs" than I am. Wouldn't that lip be a little big to be shoving in your mouth?:D

sundown that is a lip seal fit's behind your lips for a better seal no leaks get all the good stuff!!!!!!!!!! lmao:D

Those are absolutely incredible! I wouldn't even know where to begin making welds like those!
