Whats the best way to clean the front of an auto darkening lens?

I use a clean cloth like a T-shirt rag. The OM might recommend something else, but I haven't read it either.

If I can take the time to do so, I remove it from the hood and rinse it well with water. Then a soft cloth and water, or window cleaner. The rinse gets all the grit off of it first, so that you don't just rub it around on the lens.

I carry a can of aerosol window cleaner, and use w handkerchief, on both my auto lens and me cheater. My auto and my cheater both last a long time for me.

I back up a lot on congested right of ways too, so I use the same cleaner on my mirrors, and windshield sometimes as well. It'll yake coffee stains off the dashboard too.
