Hobart G-213 no 110ac

hi i have been working on a G-213 . it runs fine ,it welds fine. but i do not have any power yo the 110 outlets . i have read in other posts about flashing
but am wondering where to start to troubleshoot. i got this fine old unit to help in a power outage as well to weld in the field. any ideas will help

If it welds, flashing wont help. Check the brushes and slip rings. If you have a meter, check across both slip rings for low resistance (with the brushes lifted) and check for a short to ground in the armature ( from one slip ring to a good ground on the welder) There should also be fuses in the black leads to the plug in. Also check engine speed (1900 power, 2300 welding)
