help recognize this helmet

I'm hoping that someone can help identify this helmet, i'm looking to figure out how old it might be.

It is very lightweight and has water damage on the body of the mask, but the only part that has rust is the eye piece (as you can see), so I'm guessing the body may be made of leather?
It was terribly dirty when I purchased it and looked like it had not seen the light of day for years.
The top of the helmet is stamped with Lincoln Electric Co, Type-LPH.

It does look very old but Huntsman still make this type of helmet. Huntsman has always been known for being one of the best and lightest hoods out there. It could have been made by them for Lincoln...?... Just a guess. The hood is made of a vulcanized paper. Check out this one. I have a couple of the paper type from my Dad's work days.


That Huntsman link shows them at $33....does that seem like a lot considering what you can get these days....including auto darkening?

That hood looks like an old Jackson or Fiber Metal.
