Thermal Dynamics Pakmaster 50

Hello,
Need some help on a Pakmaster 50 plasma. ThermalDynamics said they have no parts, schematics, or a source for either. I have a problem on the main PC board ( they call it LDD- logic,driver,display.) I has a chip or chips screwed up
because I can make it fire and cut, but the air set/run switch actually will make it work. Also PIP and gas LED will not chage states. I need a schematic for the LDD board assy # 19X1064. Thanks

I have a TD Pakmaster50 also and the original owners' manual. There is everything in the manual except the schematic. Your best bet would be to take it to someone who is really knowledgeable with PC boards & components. I have a neighbor who could check & repair it if he found bad components because PC boards is all he does with design & build. If you would like to contact him, I will give you his number. You may want to check in your area for someone who also does that kind of work...... Denny

I have the service manuals, won't help much as they will tell you what the pinouts do, but little else. Most if not all those linears are all OEM part #'s as well so even a board tech won't have a clue of what is what.

Another problem is that some of these chips are "programmed" to a specific specification.
