Hello,
I just purchased and old lincoln tombstone for 50 bucks. The cables that came with it are detached from the device and after inspecting them further, I have come to believe they are not meant for this welder. They have flat copper ends that resemble some sort of single-pronged plug. I opened the back of the welder and think I found where the cables would connect. However, it looks like these accept something round that would be held in by a large set screw.
So, my question is, what kind of cables do I use? Do these set screws clamp directly onto the cable, or is there some sort of special connector that I need?
It also makes me wonder why the cables were taken off in the first place. The seller said it works, but we'll see I suppose.
