View Full Version : Post Pics?
I'm trying to put up some pics of my last work project and all I get now are red X's. I'm linking them through Photobucket.com as I always have done and now they no worky.:( Is there a problem with picture posting lately?

Not that I know of. That red "X" usually means that your computer can't display the photo format. Are they .jpg's? Are you using the [img] link?

I used photobucket until I started having problems a year ago on this forum, then switched to TinyPic (freebie), which works great!:)

I always use Photobucket, and have had no problems...click on the "image code" in PB and it will say "copied" then just past it into your post. like this:

I upload pics to this site using the "manage attachments" option, then use the image tags so that the photos are duplicated here, rather than being linked to some external site that may disappear unexpectedly.
Wow sorry guys. I forgot about this, or more accurately, have been too busy to remember to check back.
Yes I have been trying to use Photobucket and using the 'Insert Image' button to do so. Used to work just fine.
I'm gonna try the 'manage attachments' thing and if no luck, then another photo hosting site like the one mentioned.

After you click on the "image code" in Photobucket, move to the "reply to thread" window here and paste it (ctrl V) in the text..do not use the buttons at the top.

Thanks Roc. I tried for a good long while back when I last updated this. After 2 attempts and not getting it the way I wanted, I gave up for a while. It's a lot of work to go through and then have it fail. After a few times of that I was done.
I don't know why this is such a chore now. Nothing has changed on my end that I know of. Used to not be a problem.:confused: Anyhoo, I would like to post pics of my last sort-of big project at work. I may try again tonight.
