Champion 16, can't find manual

I have a Champion 16, but when I download the manual from Hobart it looks different than mine. Mine has four teminal for the leads, AC and DC, as opposed to just two terminals. Also on my rheostat is in the place where the CC/CV/AC/DC switch is on the normal rheostat

I need the manual as I need to igure out the part number for the part that controls the auto idle.

Call tech support. You'll need the serial number off of your machine.

When you downloaded the manual, did you enter you serial #, or just download the manual du jour?

Idle device timer ( black box mounted on a plate behind front panel) Miller part # 493400. Idle device solenoid ( blue coil mounted on engine) Miller # 493971 . I have a manuel but no way of scanning into computer. I could fax you a few pages if it would help.

One of the guys here was able to identify it and sent me a manual. Ended up being a Champion 16 OM-741A Spec# 7116A-1. The part for the idle control that went out is $400!!, I'll just deal with running full idle all the time.

Contact Innovat 800-626-1887 and give them the part # of that controller. they may have a rebuilt or could repair yours for a lot less $$$.
