I had a job where it call for a couple nice beads so I do a couple coupons. My welding is so sporadic and rudimentary for the most part passable is ok,, whoa! My first bead is on the right. By the second one I was starting to catch on but its amazing how we take it for granted after a while.
Maybe this is more clear, they are both fillets.

I am in the middle of it,the harvest is on, just had a baby Wedsday and did a presentation at an energy show today where I tell them a Hobart 210 and a Maxstar were good for the environment. ha
I sit here in my office a few mins to re-group before resuming farming this week, I got the crew on the job in sales.

Yes, they are verts, I usually post them in the position they were welded in. This hasn't much to do with it but was contemplating rigging a couple trucks, possibly pipeline due to some local factors, didn't mind seeing how much effort would be required to pass a test. I would likely need to run half a dozen coupons, if it was much of an event I couldn't likely walk on in the morning and do a good job. I just dont get the practice.

The right was the first bead, the point kind of was that in as little as one rod I can improve a significant amount. If I would do it twice a week a rod or 2 here and there with the intent on improving I would be up on the B+ side of things maybe, but improving the quality of the deposit as well as the finish.

Usually ya hear about the shotgun wedding before the baby pops out, doncha? Then there's the 18 years of child support to follow...all that for 5 minutes of fun....Hhmmmm...just a tad out of balance, IMHO. :rolleyes:
