I remember working in a boat trailer shop when I was a kid in high school
(all stick welding) there was three older guys and me working there. We
built several trailers from 10ga light weight to 3" channel 1/4 thick. The trailers
were built totally in house painted wired and delivered......I remember sitting at the welding table at lunch time practicing welding when all of a sudden all **** broke loose right in front of me!! It seems that the older guys were practical jokers and they took a one quart milk carton and filled it with OA
mixture sealed the lid and poked a pin hole in it and set it in front of where I was welding...You can guess the rest BOOM But we all have stories about OA bombs I'm sure....:D

Yeah I'm very lucky to have made it this far. There were a couple other shops
I worked in that had guys like that......The problem is that they never get hurt
it's the other poor guy that loses....

When I was in V-School years ago a couple guys thought it would be a good idea to fill about two dozen balloons up with a neutral flame gas to make a bunch of O/A Bombs and on their transport home they had their windows down and were smoking, yes I said smoking, and a spark found it's way to the balloons and the result was both boys died. O/A bombs aren't to be played with. I was a witness once to a old journeymen who would fill up trash bags with O/A and they take a 100' extension cord to ignite the diaster, really loud, anyways one time he was doing his thing and the static electricity of the bag opening blew the bag up in his hand and he was scars all over this arms, neck and face to this day... Sorry to be long winded just I would highly recomend not to play with O/A in a bomb.
