Hi guys, I have a question I need some help on.
I bought an SA-200 already equipped with a electronic ignition. I don't know when it was put on, but here's the dilemma.
Starting it up I have no problem, but while shutting it down isn't a pain, it is harder than I think it should be. The Pull-to-Stop switch isn't wired up, and I have to kill it by closing the fuel supply valve and letting it just die off.
I tried several different wiring methods today, as I don't have a good diagram to go off of, but didn't get any closer to a solution. I know this was risky, seeing as I could've sent current somewhere it didn't need to go, but the machine still ran fine, and in the end I left it as it was when I started.
My wire tracing left me with the following guess, that the electronic ignition should also kill the machine when I turn it off. Is this a good assumption?
Any help on this would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
