my brother bought an old boat trailer for 35.00, so i cut the side rails and made it a 5x10 trailer, added a new hitch and chains. i think it turned out good. here are some before and after pics. took about 2 1/2 hours to finish.

Its hard to go wrong for $35. Good find. I am not sure what all those holes are in the cross members, but if you plan on carrying any weight at all, I would weld some new cross members in. Those look like swiss cheese anda good load may buckle it right down the middle.

Boat trailers usually have adjustment holes everywhere for different rollers and mounts depending on the type boat they are configured to haul. It won't haul much firewood or steel I-beams,but for a light duty hauler for $35.
You might check out Northern Hydraulics(Tool) I think they have the recomended load ratings listed on similar boat trailers they sell. The small 8" tires will limit it's load capacities too.
Good score... The scrap yards have taken all the similar trailers around here for scrap...I'll have to wait a few months til Harbor Freight recycles them into the cheap-o 4x8 trailers they sell for $200 if I want one(LOL).
I need one a little heavier built, but really need a small one for quick small loads rather than pulling the 16' tilt around.
